lets move: That is the most CONTRIVED TRIPE I have read on these boards in a long, long time. YOU came here to bash the company and ANY supporter of the company.

YOU didn't start to attack BASHERS, YOU certainly did supporters of VCSY.

Then, you ran into resistance and had a fit and posted..what? over 50 posts of nonsense and attacks and, YES...YOU started with HATE and then complain you got 'Hate' back at cha. What did you expect, all those 'hugs' you posted. Forget it, you don't get a pass on this board.

Now, you are a 'long' and 'mostly' 'pro' VCSY. Yeah! Right! Tomorrow you will be back and bashing it. I've seen this over and over during the years and YOU are NO exception and pleze don't pretend you were trying some kind of experiment to see reactions. You got what you deserved.

OH! What are those OTHER aliases you HAVE USED on Raging Bull. You neglected to answer that question. YOU probably WILL NOT answer that question.

If you are a 'long' and have those thoughts about the company and management, the best you can do is SELL at 9:30AM when the market opens and make yourself HAPPY. I doubt if you will, I doubt if you are even a shareholder. Just more CONTRIVED TRIPE so you can come back and bash management, the company and any supporter of the company.

con·trive /ki??™ni??ˆtraE?v/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pron–verb (used with object) 1. devise; invent: The author contrived a clever plot.
2. to bring about or effect by a plan, scheme, or the like; manage: He contrived to gain their votes.
3. to plot (evil, treachery, etc.).
–verb (used without object) 4. to form designs; plan.
5. to plot.

You don't fool many on this board with your attempt to deceive. The company just WON the lawsuit and put out a press release just yesterday and you started posting you wanted MORE immediately. That IS NOT the real world of business. If you want a PR a day, go buy MSFT, they put out a ton of PR's.

But, VCSY DOESN'T PUT OUT 'FLUFF' for shareholders, investors, or anyone just to attract shareholders. I like that about this company. They put out a press release YESTERDAY and you say that aren't out of stealth...give management a chance and LET'S SEE what they do.

We will get news SOON enough. But, you don't want NEWS, you want to bash the company and management. ONE post by you saying the opposite is just plain NONSENSE! OF course, your posts today are ALL NONSENSE.

I will post a few below and it is obvious what you were planning...the resistance you DID NOT expect.

Too Bad! Attack VCSY and you will get a response! It is MY investment. I doubt if it is yours. Period!

I must be watching too much Oprah. I don't even know who the artist is and I find myself empathizing.

I was going through all my old XML and miscellaneous programming books and I came across this discussion on web services. It's taken Microsoft four years to come to the point where they have finally broken down and said web services. Case in point is the ballsa wood Microsoft put out for market speak about web services recently (see Here and scroll down to circa April 18 7:30 PM EDT) and THEN (see Here and scroll down to circa April 17 2:00 PM EDT) and see if you would ride in an airplane made out of ballsa wood.

This is from The XML Handbook by Charles Goldfarb, the Father of XML. I copied it from my own copy so I think that's legal and all, ain't it? Not autographed but maybe one day. I will give Charles my autograph if he wants.

The XML Handbook

© 2002 by Charles F. Goldfarb / Paul Prescod

Web Services (p. 669)

The hype about Web Services has been voluminous and relentless.

One reader of this book even asked whether we would be changing the focus from XML to Web Services. Our reply was that you wouldn't notice the difference! And that's regardless of what you think Web services is. (Besides thinking that it's ungrammatical!)

Some think it is business integration on steroids: companies finding one another automatically and purchasing services without human intervention.

Some think it is universal content processing; user access to any data from any computing device at any location.

And programmers, who have to do the work, Think about the reality; some improved technologies for distributed computing.
But all of these thoughts involve XML. Web services is XML Web services, the culmination of everything you've been reading. In this part we'll look at both the vision and the reality.

Get it? It was that way back in 2002. Where the heck has Microsoft been since then. Forget Microsoft, where have all the big XML houses that were supposed to crowd the land by now. They're all just now finding out about this stuff? Not VCSY at least. Boy am I lucky.

Dell Brings Back Windows XP as Option

By Nate Mook, BetaNews

April 19, 2007, 2:59 PM

In response to huge customer demand, Dell has brought back Windows XP Home and Professional as operating system options on a handful of consumer PCs. The computer maker, like most others, had largely switched its product lines entirely to Windows Vista.

The decision came after feedback on Dell's IdeaStorm Web site, where customers are asked what things they'd like to see the company do. Previous requests have included offering Linux as an option, and including OpenOffice rather than just Microsoft Office.

I think there's a good chance it's basically a scam, trump. But I don't have irrefutable proof that VCSY is and always will be nothing but a scam. If I did I would say so like I always did about USXP, PCBM, and lots of other undeniably fraudulent scams I've "bashed" over the years.

Put it this way, I think the odds of VCSY eventually being revealed as essentially a scam are much greater than the odds of growing in to the blue chip powerhouse you all purport to see in its future. More likely, IMO, it will just fade away over time without either being busted for fraud or making any great splash in any industry.

Might I make an opinion clear? I think the odds we will find DC-Steve is paid to bash companies are quite probable even though there is no existence of evidence indicating anybody in the known universe bashes for pay.

Optimation puts $750,000 project on ice

Taxpayer-funded project on hold

By Randal Jackson Auckland | Monday, 16 April, 2007

What a difference a year makes. Last March, Wellington software developer Optimation was trumpeting its Equip utility-billing product, saying it represented a $30-to-$50 million business, in the medium term, most of which would be earned overseas. Three months later, it received $1.8 million from the Foundation for Research, Science and Technology (FRST) for ongoing software development. The company also garnered the FRST Technology Commendation Award for 2006.

But in November, the Equip project was put on hold — after Optimation had drawn down nearly $750,000 of its business growth grant. And Alistair Owens, its utilities group manager, and 25% shareholder in holding company Mentum, has resigned and sold his shareholding to CEO Neil Butler. According to Butler, Owens has relocated to the UK, after three years with the company.

Global consolidation in the utility billing software market is behind the decision to put Equip on hold, says Butler. First Data has bought Peace Software, for example, and Oracle has acquired both Siebel (Equip is integrated with Siebel’s customer-relationship management software) and SPL, the biggest independent pure-play billing vendor.

“We took the decision not to build out a mass-market module and seek to compete head-on,” says Butler. “Rather, we chose to focus on our core strengths, such as commercial billing and smart metering.”

Equip is used locally by Genesis Energy and Meridian. “We had two very successful upgrades for our major customers last year,” Butler says. “There will be another release this year.”

In March last year, Owens was speaking of an initial overseas sale to the Maldives, made through Indian partner Satyam, as a first step to Satyam taking Equip to the broader Indian market and possibly into China. It was, he said, a $30-to-$50 million opportunity in the medium term.

Owens is a former CEO of TransAlta, which was subsequently bought by the Natural Gas Corporation. He moved on to develop Equip within his own company, AV Group, then took the product to Optimation. Equip had been developed in partnership with Satyam, but Optimation bought out the Indian company’s share in 2005. Then, a year ago, it entered into a long-term partnership with Satyam, bringing in Satyam capability where it best suited business needs. Satyam had 14 staff working at Optimation.

But there were persistent rumours late last year that the Equip project was in trouble. In December, Owens told Computerworld the project had “slowed down” and that, as a result, staff had been redeployed. He characterised this as a “natural dip” in the project. “We are just taking a pause and we have scaled back a wee bit,” he said. “There is nothing apocalyptic about it.”

But a statement from FRST has revealed that the project was put on hold in November.

The foundation and Optimation decided mutually to make that move, says FRST communications advisor Nancy de Bueger. “We were happy with the progress the project was making up to that point, as it had delivered the planned technical objectives, and the benefits of this work will be retained in some way, even if the project does not continue in its current form,” she wrote in an email to Computerworld.

“Because research and development is inherently risky, we recognise that, from time to time, because of events outside a company’s control, time-lines and milestones may need to be reviewed.”

Butler says Optimation has advised FRST that it will not be drawing down any more of the dollar-for-dollar grant.

When asked about the state of the company’s relationship with Satyam, Butler referred Computerworld to the Indian company for any comment.

RR, you want the stock to fly . . .
Maybe it is my suspicious mind. Maybe I have just been around a very long time, but ask Mr. Wade to look into any debt issues which can be paid off with stock . . . or converted into stock at the price at which the stock is at the time of conversion.

For instance, if there was a $1,000,000 loan and it could be converted into stock. At a price of 5 cents that would mean 20,000,000 shares. At a price of 2 cents 50,000,000 shares could be converted.

Let us just say that they sold short 50,000,000 shares at 5 cents and converted at 2 cents . . . a nice profit is to be had.

IMHO, the risk is if they sold the 50,000,000 short and the $1,000,000 loan was repaid. Now they have recovered the original loan and they $2,500,000 for selling the shares at 5 cents, but they now have to scramble to cover their short position. Anything under 5 cents and they are in the black. Over 5 cents and they are under water.

In order to keep the price down, sometimes people resort to another type of naked shorts . . . which is not legal in the US. However, there is just high hopes that they can recoup.

Have seen this work on several companies. Just keep on forcing the share price down until people loose their way . . . and then it really spikes down and they make even more.

Hope I am wrong.

The way to force their hand is to pay off the debt. Then they have to square things up . . . and they have to do it quickly.

Just my humble opinion . . . but what do I know. But something is happening. I know, I have a suspicious mind.
